Hello mapping friends and open data enthusiasts!
It’s that time again: In 2024 we want to celebrate the international Open Data Day with you and invite you to a session of the popular Maptime Meetup at CityLAB Berlin.
We look forward to inspiring presentations on visualisations, applications, platforms, tools and hacks. The main thing is that it’s all about maps and (open) data! The first speakers have been requested for a packed evening. The following speakers have been confirmed for our Meetup so far:
- Alexandra Hilpert, TAZ, Space utilisation of cars in the City
- Sebastian Felix Ernst, Author of “Berlin Maps”
- Team from “EnergyMap Berlin”, Universität der Künste
- Akpona Okujeni, Postdoctoral Researcher, HU Berlin – Exploring Environmental Challenges through Earth Observation
- Sebastian Lehmler, LUP, Urban Green Eye project – indicators for climate adaptation from aerial imagery & satellite data
The event will be held in English. Bring yourself and your map- and data-loving friends and come along! 🙂
Thanks to the cooperation with ODIS and the Technologiestiftung Berlin, there will be pizza and drinks for you.
When: Thursday, 29 February 2024, from 6 pm
Where: CityLAB Berlin, Platz der Luftbrücke 4, 12101 Berlin
We are looking forward to seeing you!
Event organiser: Maptime Berlin and Open Data Informationsstelle Berlin (ODIS) / Technologiestiftung Berlin supported by CityLAB Berlin.
