Sadly we have to postpone the Open Workshop! We will keep you posted and inform you as soon as a new date is fixed. Thank you for your interest and understanding!
Since July 2019, the open workshop of the Technologiestiftung takes place on site at CityLAB and online. At times, we also send components by mail and realize even difficult projects remotely with numerous participants. What is matters to us: Staying in touch and making new connections! That’s why we invite you once again to the round table of builders on October 28th (this time we plan to meet on site) to exchange ideas about current electronics projects.
Whether engineers, artists, experimenters, teachers or learners – all interested people from different contexts (hobby, study, profession) are invited to present something. In addition to marveling at and trying out construction projects that you have brought along, we offer space for exchange. If you don’t bring your own project and are looking for new inspiration, you are also welcome!
Register now and submit projects (picture or idea sketch): bildung@ts.berlin
From air quality measurement to DIY casting systems to interactive luminous objects: We are looking for artworks, autonomous vehicles, medical electronics as well as luminous open source hardware pens. What matters is what we can learn from these projects and from each other. We look forward to all submissions: If there’s a cable on it, we’re interested 😉 .
The event will last about 2.5 hours and is free of charge. With a request for registration to bildung@ts.berlin as space is limited. Participants will receive the final agenda prior to the event.
The workshop at CityLAB is the Technologiestiftung Berlin’s offer to urban citizens to collaborate on exemplary educational projects and to externalize the content in the form of events, freely licensed educational materials and implementation in the urban space. The focus is on the “Internet of Things” (IoT) – helping to shape the future of cities “hands on” with coding and hardware.
