Public-sector organizations are currently grappling with a competitive labor market and rapid social change. What does this mean for managers responsible for staff—and how can data analysis help address these challenges? Using the City of Potsdam as an example, this session shows how personnel data has been transformed into a digital support tool that tackles staffing challenges in everyday municipal operations.
Tim Hönig* from the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam will outline the development process of the tool in partnership with Potsdam’s municipal administration, explain the dashboard’s key functionalities, and discuss both customization options and opportunities for reuse. The session will conclude with networking opportunities for attendees.
This event is intended exclusively for staff working in the Berlin administration.
*Speaker: Tim Hönig is a freelance information designer and developer. In this collaborative project between FH Potsdam and the City of Potsdam, he has developed a digital dashboard designed for sustainable personnel planning.
