IHK Forum 2025 – Rethinking administration

04.06.2025, 09:00 - 17:00 Uhr, IHK Berlin

An important milestone is approaching this summer: the Berlin House of Representatives will vote on the new State Organization Act – a crucial step toward finally ending the tedious bureaucratic ping-pong. This will lay the foundation for a modern, future-proof administration in Berlin, which will then need to prove itself in practice.

But what does this actually mean for the city and its administration?

  • How can bureaucracy be noticeably reduced?
  • What should businesses and citizens demand?
  • When will digitalization fully unleash its potential?
  • How can innovations from the private sector find their way into public administration?
  • And: What can we learn from other regions?

Experts from business, politics, and public administration will discuss these and other questions – and we’ll be there as well!

Our director, Dr. Benjamin Seibel, will be part of the panel “Digitalization & Innovation” from 2:15 PM to 3:00 PM – alongside experts from public administration, IT, and public infrastructure.

Influencer Tülin Sezgin, also known as Conny from the Block, will kick off the event before Abendschau presenter Volker Wieprecht takes over and guides us through a diverse program. Participation is free of charge.
