Climate Stories

Workshop

It’s a sunny day, and you’ve spontaneously planned a barbecue with your loved ones in the nearest park. The chat group quickly decides who will bring what. Everything is going well, and it’s a perfect late summer afternoon – until a storm unexpectedly forms in the distance. Had anyone checked the weather forecast? No, of course not! But who could have guessed, given the bright sunshine…

Who have been in a similar situation above? Surely, it is not the best thing ever! Therefore, together with the residents and other participants, we will take a look at the climate in the neighborhood. After a brief introductory talk, we will share our personal and emotional experiences and visualize or put them into words. We also welcome ideas about possible visions for the future. Together, we will create digital interactive stories from our personal experiences using open source software. And don’t panic – no one is born a master author! You can be inspired by the stories of the other participants. The results may be included in the exhibition at the Kiezlabor.

The event takes place on site at the Kiezlabor and is free of charge. A number of laptops will be provided for the workshop; you can also work on your own devices. No prior knowledge is required. The event will last approx. 2 hours. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Please register as places are limited!
